DESIGN AND PLANNING PROCESS

Thinking through drawing is a critical part of our camp design and master planning process. By making, remaking, and remaking again we test ideas that would have otherwise been missed. The iterative process has practical benefits: we bring more ideas to the table with our clients and, as a result, we have more to discuss, critique, and explore. Working closely with our clients and engaging them is critical to the process.

The following images are representative sketches, diagrams, and studies generated to test early ideas and concepts of a proposed outdoor education STE(A)M center at Camp Tongawood in Kansas.
